Paperworld is a key date for stationery and paper producers. We could not miss it!
The international trade fair for stationery, office supplies and writing instruments takes place in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Not less than 1,668 exhibitors from 64 countries and 33,010 visitors joined this year’s edition on January 26th-29th to begin the new year discovering the best trends. Office materials, bags, accessories, greeting cards, paper products, school supplies and an uncountable variety of other quality items were presented in this special occasion, offering infinite sources of inspiration and business opportunities to the participants.
It was in Paperworld that Rossi1931 exhibited the new products inserted in the catalogues 2019. This exclusive preview presented six unique designs inspired by the Chinese, Arab and Indian art, made with shimmering colours and golden details. This collection including decorative papers, file folders, notebooks, gift cards and envelopes is something that has never been seen before. Glamour, trendy and innovative, these extraordinary new papers have been designed by Patrizia Margheri, the talented artist working as Creative Director for Rossi1931 who has ideated its best-known patterns.
Every year, Paperworld selects the best products among thousands for “Paperworld Trends”, a collection exhibiting the most innovative solutions for office, school, packages and gifts.
“The Stationery Trends” for 2019/20 included “urban + pristine” and “graphic + particular” products, characterized by high quality, closeness to nature, graphic patterns and special colour combinations.
Even this year, some products by Rossi1931 were picked to be part of the show!
These were part of the exclusive “Classica Italiana” letterpress stationery collection, including “old style” double cards, envelopes, notepads and notebooks with vintage illustrations and classic colours. The quality eco-friendly Italian papers are composed by process residues from organic products, which make them 100% green. In fact, we care about the planet and we always put a lot of effort to preserve the environment. Our focus is the research of eco-friendly processes that minimize their impact on nature using recycled and organic raw materials. We believe that sustainability is the key of our future and these lines are our contribution to a better world for future generations.
This year’s collection exalts the high quality of our papers. The elegant products by Rossi1931 are made with the best Italian materials, designed by illustrious artists and decorated with gleaming shades of colour. Like the most valuable diamonds and gemstones, the precious products differ from all the others and are appreciated for the superb technique used to treat the first-quality paper.
This meaning is perfectly expressed by the words written on the large poster welcoming visitors to Rossi1931’s stand: “I’m Gold, Not for All”. Combining exclusiveness and the inimitable Italian beauty, the print draws the attention to the wonderful blue details of the Florentine decorative paper, which perfectly match with the girl’s make up.
Some Rossi1931 papers were also chosen by packaging expert Ulla Büning for her “Wrap up!” presentation, a show presenting some simple ways to prepare attractive gifts taking place in Paperworld on January 28th. Ulla is one of the owners of “Re Della Carta”, a shop based in Münster that is not limited to selling stationery and papers, but also offers a special gift-wrapping service. Her love for details appears in each of her works, as she believes that a beautiful package is what makes a gift fantastic.
The brand-new Chinese wraps could not be missed in this occasion! Ulla explained how a large box or a small item could be packaged in an exclusive manner using this luxury decorative paper. Also, she added some beautiful accessories like a red ribbon to embellish the recipients.
It is always an honour to take part to a world-renowned trade show such as Paperworld. Thank you and see you next year, Frankfurt!
